Michael Francis Smith is the Minister of Music and Worship at Christ Chapel. Michael completed a Doctor of Worship Studies in June 2016 from the Robert E. Webber Institute of Worship Studies in Jacksonville, Florida. He is a songwriter of contemporary Christian hymns and songs; and he also composes music for concert band, string orchestra and choir. The music in worship at Christ Chapel is a beautiful presentation from past and present to serve a multi-generational community; our contemporary music is led using keyboards, drums, etc., and our hymns are led using an outstanding pipe organ and Steinway piano. Michael is a public school music teacher in addition to serving as a minister at Christ Chapel.
