COVENANT OF CHURCH MEMBERSHIP

• We will live in harmony with the doctrine of the church as it is expressed in our Statement of Faith and the historic creeds of the church.

• We will work together for the continuance of a faithful, evangelical ministry in this church, as we participate in its worship and the sacraments. We will not neglect to meet together, nor neglect to pray for ourselves and others.

• We will seek, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to live carefully in the world, turn from godless living and sinful pleasures, in order to fulfill Christ's command that we lead a renewed and holy life.

• We will joyfully exercise our spiritual gifts and use our talents for the edification of Christ's body, the church, and especially for the building up of this congregation.

• As members of Christ Chapel, we will walk together in Christian love. We will exercise an affectionate care and watchfulness over each other and faithfully teach and admonish one another as occasion may require. We will work and pray for the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

• We will endeavor to guide those who may at any time be under our care, in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. We will endeavor by a pure and loving example to seek the salvation of our family and friends. We will rejoice at each other's happiness and endeavor with tenderness and sympathy to bear each other's burdens and sorrows.

• We will contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the Gospel throughout our land and to all nations. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all (2 Corinthians 13:14).
